Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

we look back on a festive July anniversary event in Amsterdam. On the occasion of the association's 30th birthday, we went out on the IJsselmeer by boat. We are delighted that so many of our members were there on this day.

But we are not just looking back, we are also looking ahead. We have a few announcements for you again.

30 years of DCA

Anniversary celebration on the IJsselmeer

On 20 June 2024, the DCA hosted its 30th anniversary celebrations in Amsterdam to mark the association's 30th birthday. The celebrations began at the Four Elements Hotel and continued in the afternoon and evening on a ship of the Royal Fleet.

The DCA welcomed an impressive number of over 70 participants from 40 companies. The board was particularly pleased that three founding members of the association, Wolfgang Hausmann, Hans Ringers and Denis Pellerin, accepted the DCA's invitation. While the former has been in well-deserved retirement for some time now, Denis Pellerin is still an associate member of the association with his company HDDP Solutions.

Announcements

Training event according to GW 329

10.12.2024 Schloss Wilhelmshöhe, Kassel

The seminar is primarily aimed at specialist supervisors who have a certificate of examination in training levels A and B. It also serves as a suitable training event for technical personnel, site managers and supervisors working in the field of horizontal directional drilling. This year's programme is currently being prepared and will be published at the end of August. The training course will be led by DCA Vice President Marco Reinhard.

HDD training for clients, Kassel

11.12.2024, Kassel

The day after the training event, a newly designed training course for clients will take place at the same location in Kassel. The training will be held in close cooperation between DCA and brbv, similar to the training event. DCA Vice President Marc Schnau and DCA member Phillipp Dick, Moll prd, will be responsible for the technical management and organisation of the programme. A basic training programme will take place in the morning. An annually changing training programme is planned for the afternoon.
