Information on the programme

The 29th DCA Annual Congress will again start on Wednesday, 8th October 2025 with a guided city tour. We would particularly like to draw your attention to the evening meeting of the ‘Women Empowering HDD’ group, which will take place on Wednesday, 8 October 2025 at 5 p.m. in the Tapas Bar Bolero Bamberg. All interested women from the HDD industry are cordially invited to attend the meeting. 

The joint dinner on Wednesday will not take place in the congress hotel as usual, but in the sister hotel Residenzschloss, which is within walking distance. Please note! The subsequent “Get-together” will take place at the congress hotel. Thursday will again begin with an interesting guest lecture. This year, the DCA has been able to secure the ex-secret agent Leo Martin, who will speak on the subject of "Secret weapons of communication: Soft strategies with hard impact". The introductory lecture will be followed by presentations on topics including the ‘Use of electric drilling equipment’ and ‘Traffic safety in construction site areas’.

This year's annual congress will once again focus on HDD workshops, which will deal with aspects of the new technical guidelines. A total of four thematic blocks are planned, each of which will be discussed in five workshop groups (three German and two English-speaking groups).

As is tradition, presentations on current HDD projects from Europe and a presentation from Brazil are planned for Friday. The congress will again be accompanied by an attractive spouse programme. As always, the highlight of the spouse programme will be Thursday evening. Here, the DCA invites you to a typical Franconian square farm at Gut Leimershof.

Information on the registration

Due to the very good response in the course of the past annual congress and the overall limited capacity, DCA members will generally have priority for registration until the registration deadline. As last year, registration from members for the congress will be exclusively digital. A maximum of four people per company can take part (inclusive speakers). Accompanying persons are not included in the number of persons. Please note!

Members giving a lecture at the annual congress please register for the congress directly via the registration portal. Please also make your room reservation via the hotel links. You
will receive further information on the lecture separately from the office.
