Invitation to the 2nd Spring Talks (We-HDD), Aachen

Dear DCA Members,

We are pleased to invite you to our 2nd event "DCA Spring Talks" on May 28, 2026, at the Novotel Aachen, which will be hosted by Women empowering HDD by DCA.

This event aims to provide all members, especially women in the HDD industry, with the opportunity to meet, promote diversity, share knowledge, and strengthen valuable network connections. In addition to engaging presentations on various topics, a workshop focusing on presentation skills will be held.

As the WE-HDD group is particularly committed to attracting and inspiring young talent to the industry, students from surrounding universities are also invited.

The event is sponsored by DCA-Member FOREXI and by the Veenker Foundation. The Veenker Foundation will support the participation of students.

Registration
Registration for the event is exclusively digital. The participation fee for DCA members is 120,- € per person (incl. lunch). Speakers and the WE-HDD group are exempt from the conference fees.
Interested students can also participate (registration fee 20,- €). The latter fee will subsequently be taken over by the foundation of the company Dr.-Ing. Veenker Ing.gesellschaft mbH.

Event language: English; a translation tool is available.
This event will be the first to use AI-powered software for language translation. Therefore, please bring headphones/AirPods if possible to use the AI ​​app on your mobile phone.

The following conditions of participation apply:

Two persons per member company can participate:

  • two female persons or
  • one female and one male person.

The pre-event dinner will take place on May 27, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. in the Elisenbrunnen restaurant, Friedrich-Wilhelm-Platz 13b, Aachen. The meeting point is at 7:00 pm in the hotel lobby.

Registration deadline for the event: Friday, 08.05.2026

A room contingent has been reserved at the Novotel Aachen for this event. Please make your booking via aachen.reservierung@accorhotels.com (Phone: +49 (0)89 121 406 255) under the keyword ‘DCA Spring Talks 2026’. Rooms can be cancelled free of charge up to five days before arrival. Cancellations made after this date will be charged accordingly.
